SALES ASSISTANT

SCOPE

We are looking for a young, vibrant, well presentable female, that would need to have a strong personality and good with cold calling Sales Assistant to take responsibility for providing strong and proactive sales support to the head of sales and the sales department.

  1. Grade 12;
  2. At least 2 years of experience of having worked in an administrative environment, preferably sales or human resources;
  3. Competence in the MS Office suite of products;
  4. Experience and knowledge of having worked with ERP and CRM systems such as Syspro, SAP, Oracle etc.
  5. Age limit: 25- to 30-year-old
  • KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Orientation and system familiarity
Get familiar with the company products, services and sales process
Get familiar with the brochures, intro letters and email templates and use them when communicating.
Review the CRM
Sales board and LinkedIn database functions and update them  
Database and Lead clean-up
Review current leads and check for missing or outdated details
Correct bounced email addresses
Categorize leads by region for targeted campaigns  
Communication flow practice
Send out intro letters and brochures to new or inactive leads.
Do follow-up calls and emails  
Appointment coordination
Book appointments for sales staff
Send the sales team all meeting details in advance  
KPI tracking setup
Fill in the KPI tracking sheet everyday which includes logging lead progress, appointments set and follow ups completed.  
  • KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS:
Ensure that you cover at least 2 industries per week in terms of introductory emails.
Ensure that you send out at least 40 introductory emails per week.
Ensure that all introductory emails are followed up within 3 to 5 days.
Ensure that the top 20 regional organograms are maintained and updated at all times.
Ensure that there is at least 1 sales appointment set up per day for any of the salespeople.  

Salary R16 000 per month
